Skull and natural stone rings. A delicious find!

Hi guys,

I'm still not over my obsession about rings, so lately I have been browsing through the net like crazy searching for wonderful and different statement rings and I was pleasantly surprised with some of the websites I came across.

I'll start with this Etsy shop, called MerCurios. I was totally delighted with the mixture of natural stones, which I love, combined with silver sterling skulls, which you guys already know, I am a fan of and totally adore. They are gorgeous, big statement rings, right up my street. Especially the amethyst one, which is amazing. Amethyst is not only a beautiful stone but it's also the birth stone for my star sign, which makes this ring extra special.

ps: don't forget to ENTER MY NEW GIVEAWAY! A fabulous ring made specially for you!

There are some other beautiful designs to her collection, another gorgeous catch, are the drusy rings and also the double finger ones. They are all custom made, so you can make it extra special by adding own message on them.

Hi guys,

I'm posting some pictures from an editorial shot by Mario Testino, featuring model Sasha Pivovarova for V magazine.

It's called Bad Hair Day and I wish some days I could have bad hair days like that! Fantastically styled with those amazing colours. A very dramatic and inspirational look. Pin up meets Marie Antoinette. I love it!

Lazy day

Hi guys,

I hope you have all been well. I'm happy to be posting an outfit for you, I was itching to share some of my latest buys.

There are 2 new items in the mix. I couldn't help myself this week and I ended up buying this snood at Primark, which everyone seems to be wearing lately. It's big, warm and super mass produced but still a nice little buy for just £4.

I am also wearing my All Saints boots, which I bought a couple of months ago, on sale from Asos, they were half price, too good too resist. I loved the heavy studded detail on them but I actually haven't worn them out yet... I wasn't very sure about the size, always a drama when buying online. I went for one size bigger then mine and they were a tad big, but now they fit nicely since I have got a pair of insoles for them. Phew!

Street Style

Fridays @ Portobello

Some cool people around Portobello Market, London. A shorter post than normal due my lack of time this week, sorry guys.

- Click on the image to enlarge.

Sophie, on Portobello Market.
I really loved how she styled this look. The belt worn over the short leather jacket, looks so edgy and it's such a great idea! I might even give it a go myself ♥

Emma, on Portobello Road.
The cardigan is really adorable and brings the whole outfit together perfectly. It's bold, colourful and she pulls it off brilliantly.

Kirsty, on Portobello Road.
A big, warm hat is exactly what we need now. The Russian hat spices it up this classic look. Cute.

Which outfit do you like the most?

See you soon.

It's a no no in my book! Blake Lively at the CFDA

Hi guys,

Just had to share my thoughts with you on this one...

Would you spoil a classic, beautiful, black lace Chanel dress with a white bra underneath?

That is the question Blake Lively should have asked herself when she attended the 7th CFDA (Council of Fashion Designers of America) last night, one of the biggest fashion events of the year in New York.

blake lively chanel cfda new yorkHELLLLOOOOO STYLIST! How would you allow the girl to go out like that? In a see thru dress, knowing that there would be millions of cameras flashing at her, obviously showing her underwear.

But I am not only blaming the stylist here, (if there was one) because it's not rocket science for any girl... if you are in a black see thru dress, you must wear a black bra! P-l-e-a-s-e.

So, the white bra was a huge spoiler to this look on my opinion, how about you, do you agree with me?

See you soon.

Trend - Baby Blue Nail Varnish

Hi guys,

I was missing a post dedicated to nail varnish as much as I miss having my nails done.

Nail varnish wise, the flavour of the moment seems to be the latest Chanel colour, called Riva. Back in May, when the Cruise collection was shown in Saint-Tropez, Riva was the 'no name' nail varnish seen on the models. Immediately the colour was much talked and blogged about, there was so much speculation about the colour, but Chanel kept it secret, knowing very well that making us wait would cause consumer madness. Well, finally Riva is due to be released at the end of this month, so be ready to queue up once more!

Nail blogger, Lacquerized, has already tried a swatch for us. Riva is very nice and very different from Nouvelle Vague. The most amazing thing is that she has already found a dupe for it (clever girl!).
She compares it with 'Moody blue' from China Glaze, unfortunately a colour which has now been discontinued. The match is almost perfect.

Luckily for us there are many options and beautiful colours available at the moment for you to keep up with the trend.
I have just selected a few. Check it out!

My rings... my precious!

Hi guys,

As this week I have dedicated most of my posts to rings, today I decided to share with you my collection.

Some rings are really old, I bought them in my teens and they still fit. Fitting is a huge problem for me since I have quite skinny fingers, which others politely call 'slender', so sizing is always a problem. Plus, ring makers don't seem to think of this and therefore it is actually quite difficult to find something that will fit me, I even have trouble with 'one size fits all'.

So I have a small but much loved collection. ♥

Bag lady

Hi guys,

Just another great little treat for all the girlies out there who are impatiently waiting for Lanvin collection for H&M.

The gorgeous collection, which is due to be released in a couple of weeks and has been seen by most of us either via You tube or blogs, is holding yet another wonderful surprise.
Call me silly but oh my, oh my... just have a look at the carrier bags! Believe it or not, those bags are limited edition carrier bags for the launch day only. They are so gorgeous that I think I got my eye more on the carrier than on the clothes!
Check it out.

Tres Chic!

See you later.

Ring ring - Skull

Hi guys,

Another 'ring' post today! For all the ring fanatics and skull lovers, I hope you guys are going to love this gorgeous little find ;-)

I'm in real trouble, because I am a huge skull lover. Therefore, I almost had a heart attack when I saw this amazing skull ring, which I am already obsessed with.
It's a newcomer to the Orah London website, another favourite site of mine. I have been a fan of their accessories for a long time and for all this time, I have always had a massive crush on the starfish collection but I must admit the skull ring totally took my breath away.

Come to mama!
